This is a decorative piece of cast iron. The front has a worn silver finish. The shape is organic like the tail of a bird, or a plant. I understand these were used on the edge of a room to keep melting snow from falling in large sheets. The front has COLE'S. I assume this bird was on a building of a business with that name. The back side has the number 182. The decorative part of the bird measures 5" x 6 1/2". The angle iron is 2 1/4" x 4". I have 3 of these available. All are in similar condition with the exception of one missing a bit of the end of the angle iron. The price is for a single bird. You may purchase 1 or more. Nice architectural pieces.

In Texas my heart sings for the flowers are blooming, the birds are singing, and butterflies have come.
