Sometimes my interest is caught by something I haven't seen before. I got interested in pudding molds a few years ago when someone was talking about never having "figgy pudding", yet we sing about it every Christmas holiday. I bought my first steamed pudding mold shortly thereafter and researched recipes for making a pudding. Since then, I have made one nearly every Christmas. Then recently I ran across some small molds for making steamed puddings or jellies. I of course had to have them. This particular pudding mold has a shell design. It measures 2 3/4" in diameter and 2" tall. Certainly would control portion size. The bottom has a loop for grabbing or handing for decoration. It is marked England. The inside still has its shine, but the outside has a dark patina. The lid fits very tightly.
