This engraving is from THE NATURAL HISTORY OF BIRDS by Comte Georges-Louis Le Clere Buffon. It was engraved by Alexander Bell and published Edinburgh, c. 1790. The plate is No. 145, THE wHITE-FRONTED PARROT. The print has Acid Free Crescent 100% Rag Mat and backing. A Certificate of Authenticity is on the back. The print size is 6 1/2" x 4". The total size is 11" x 14". Excellent condition.
