This cup & saucer is one of a set of 8 made by Royal Cauldon England circa 1960. The designs were by H.A. Pausch. The base is white ironstone with a raised pattern of flowers and birds. It gives the appearance of lace. Inside this cup is the beautiful bird, PINE GROSBEAK surrounded by pine boughs. Both the cup and the saucer are marked Royal Cauldon England. The saucer measures 5 3/4" in diameter. The cup measures 4" in diameter and 2 1/2" deep. Very good condition with light crazing.
