This is a double compartment tea caddy from the 19th century. It measures 7 1/4" x 4 1/2" x 4 3/4". The top and all 4 sides are decorated with Mother of Pearl birds and flowers. There is also blue abalone inlay. The lid is domed. There is a lock, but no key. There are lids on the inside compartments. One of the lids is also decorated with MOP. Inside the lid are MOP flowers. One hinge has been repaired and replaced. There are a few scars, but the box is in really good condition. The only marks are numbers on the bottom, 1113.12.82.
