This Bell is a very nice collectible British Biscuit Tin. It was made by Huntley Boorne & Stevens for the Huntley & Palmers Biscuit Company in 1912. The lid is hinged and has a handle. The tin measures 6" in diameter on the base and stands 7" tall. It is embossed around the top with, " When Ye Doe Ringe, I Sweetly Sing". It has an embossed Huntley & Palmers mark on the bottom. This tin has condition problems. The bronze finish is nearly gone. The handle on the lid is missing one side and has been repaired. It appears the hinged has also been repaired. This tin still displays well. The silver tin finish is quite attractive.
