This biscuit tin is shaped like a house or cottage. The hinged lid is the tile roof. The front has a woman at the door with two young girls outside. One end has an open window with a girl leaning out to a dog and a cat. The back has an older woman with a book in her hand, a girl holding a doll. Another child is sitting on a bench with a mop. I really like the window box and watering can on the other side of the door. Figural tins were made to be used as toys after the contents have been eaten. The tin measures 7" x 3 1/2" x 4 1/2". This tin is in reasonably good condition. It is somewhat faded in color, spots of oxidation, and a dent in the front. It displays quite well.
