This early 20th century tin box is marked Wyllie Barr & Ross Ltd. Biscuit & Cake Manufacturers Glasgow. This company was established in 1906 and became the Sunshine Biscuit company in 1918. Their specialty was Oat Cakes, a favorite of the Scottish people. The tin has a raised design accented pink and yellow wild roses. The lid is hinged. There is a metal handle on the lid. The front has a raised faux lock. The sides have raised butterflies. There are no dents, but the tin is very oxidized. Still an important tin for your collection. The tin measures 3 3/4" x 8" x 3".
