This biscuit tin measures 11" x 3 1/2" x 4". The tin was named "Tally-Ho" due to three hunting scenes depicted on all faces of the tin. The base of the tin is printed with the following details - "TALLY-HO" The three scenes depicted on this tin, "Meeting at Cover", "Breaking Cover" and "Full Cry", are reproduced from coloured aquatints made by T. Sutherland from the original paintings by the famous sporting artist Henry Alken 1784 - 1851 SCRIBBANS-KEMP (BAKERIES) LIMITED LONDON AND BRANCHES. The top is darker and somewhat textured. The lid is hinged and fits tightly. There are some scratches, but these are minor. Very nice decorative tin for those who like horses.
