This tapered mug is marked Maling (maker) Newcastle-on-Tyne England. This is a 1949-63 mark of the C.T. Maling Pottery. The original Robert Maling engravings were used in the mid 20th century to produce the series of Poor Richard pottery. This particular mug dates to 1956 with the shipping logo on the back of the mug. The front has "Poor Richard Way To Wealth - For Age and Want Save While You May. No Morning Sun Lasts a Whole Day". The mug is in very good condition.
