This bulbous water pitcher measures 8 5/8" tall. It was made by The Boston & Sandwich Glass Co, circa 1850-60's. In the 1880's this pattern was made by McKee & Brothers. The provenance that I acquired with this pitcher states as follows: "About 1865 my grandfather bought my grandmother a set of glass ware. Through the years I have added pieces." Whether this is an 1865 piece or an 1880 piece, I do not know. The pitcher is in excellent condition. There are no chips or cracks. There are bubbles in the glass and mould lines characteristic of pressed glass. I will be listing several pieces of this glassware.

The heat is on here in Texas. Today was "stifling". A good day to stay indoors and shop.
