This is one of four cups and saucers available from a child's tea set. It is Aesthetic design Transfer printed in red (pink). The pattern is Miss May. It is often referred to as May with Apron. The girl is holding her apron full of eggs. The bottoms of all four saucers are marked with a Staffordshire belt with MAY and 753. This was made by Charles Allerton & Sons pottery circa 1880. The saucers are each 4 1/2" in diameter. The cups measure 2 1/2" in diameter and 2 1/4" tall. I have three cup & saucer sets available, all of the saucers in very good condition. One cup has a hairline in the bottom. Another cup has a piece of stray clay in the bottom. A third cup has a manufacturing flaw under the glaze on the lip. The price is for a single cup & saucer set. You may buy 1 or more.
