The early 20th century British lithograph tins have an image of an old master's painting. This Rowntree Candy tin is one of those. The image is of a Mother and Child. The tin measures 5 3/4" in diameter and 2" deep. The lid pulls off. There is a hanger so that the lid can be hung on a wall. The bottom and sides of the tin have a faux wood finish. The bottom is marked RownTree with a tree and a crown. There are 3 ball feet. The top has quite a bit of oxidation, especially around the edges. Still a wonderful very early tin.
