This flow blue platter measures 11 1/2" x 17". The sides are slanted to hold juices as a meat platter. The bottom is marked with the makers mark, W. H. Grindley, and the pattern LORNE. This Art Nouveau pattern has small groups of four three-leaf clovers connected by a narrow ribbon-line line. The center of the well is outlined by a narrow stripe, and shows a stylized grouping of the same clovers. The edge of the platter is scalloped and it is enhanced by printed beading. The platter is in excellent condition.
