This pair of vases are in great condition with no chips, cracks, or crazing. They are a mat brown white, blue, and darker brown incised and applied decoration. The inside of the vases are glossy. Each vase has a classical shape and measure 7 1/4" tall and approximately 4" in diameter at the widest point. There are a multiple number of marks on the bottom of each vase. First of all the rectangular Doulton Lambeth Silicon mark. England is impressed under the rectangle indicating after 1891. There is a number 5698 indicating the year 1893. There are two impressed dots. There are artists signature marks. It appears to be a P = P. This mark belongs to the artist Georgina Pearson I have several photos of the marks to let you verify that determination. In addition there are other incised marks of possible other artists. This is a lovely pair of vases for those loving Doulton Lambeth pottery.
