This is a pair of flow blue soup plates (flat bowls) measuring 9 1/8" in diameter. The lovely Art Nouveau pattern, LORNE, was made by W. H. Grindley circa 1900. The edge of each bowl is scalloped and enhanced with beading. There are embossed scrolls around the outer rims. Small groups of three-leaf clovers are placed around the borders. These are connected by a narrow ribbon-like lines. The center of the well shows a stylized grouping of the same clovers. The price is for the pair of plates. I would consider selling them separately. One has a chip on the underside. The other has a crack about 1/4" on one edge.
