This lovely platter has a deep well. It measures 11 1/2" x 16". The rim is scalloped with molded scrolled handles on each end. The edge is outlined with beading. There are panels of trellis that alternate with larger panels containing a carnation and bud design. The bottom is marked W. H. Grindley MELBOURNE. This pattern was made circa 1900. Excellent condition. Very light utensil wear.
