This pedestal cake plate measures 9 1/2" in diameter and 2 1/2" tall. It is decorated under the pearlware glaze in blue. The design is enhanced with yellow, gold, and blue enamels. The rim of the plate has a molded scroll design and molded handles. There are three cartouche insets with roses interspersed with three classical designs. There is an English registry impressed mark. The mark used was used circa 1842-67. I cannot make out the date code. There is a blue printed circle with spokes. The maker is: Brownfield (& Son(S)); previously Wood & Brownfield (W&B). It is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. There is crazing on the underneath side.
