This vegetable bowl is printed in a dark slate-blue Art Nouveau pattern. The shape of the bowl and lid are very angular. The rim is outlined with a very dark band. The outside border is printed with long curved dotted scrolls that connect small oval medallions each containing a dark oval. Inside this design are stylized lotus blossoms and leaves. The bowl is marked with the pattern (Dudley) and the maker (Ford & Sons). This bowl was made circa 1890 by the English maker. The overall measurement is 12 1/2" x 8 1/2" x 5". The bowl and lid are in very good condition. The lid has a small chip on one end point. The bowl has a spider crack in the base. The handles are all intact.
