The dessert plate measures 7 3/8" in diameter. This is a lovely flow blue pattern, named WELBECK. The design is printed in dark slate blue. The design is Persian in effect. Three large pointed arches enclose stylized and baroque renditions of carnations. There are hearts flanked with small flowers and stems. It has fish scale designs between the pointed arches. Just beautiful. This was made by the J. H. Weatherby & Sons pottery. There is a registry number indicating 1905. It is marked semi-porcelain. I have 5 of these plates available. All are in very good condition. One plate has a tiny nick on the edge. There is no evidence there ever was any gilding. The price is for a single plate. You may buy 1 or more.
