I believe this 10 Karat Yellow Gold Pin was worn stateside by the Mother, sister, girlfriend, sweetheart, fiancee or wife of a soldier who was serving in the military ~ ARMY. This piece of Vintage military jewelry dates to World War II or possibly the Korean War. I have not seen another like it and my research did not reveal much information.
The U.S. at the top is Yellow Gold in color - I have been told that because of the "." period after each letter it does not date from WWI. Dangling below is a White Gold Bar - the insignia/emblem awarded to a First Class Lieutenant. SOLID Gold Active Duty Serviceman Pin MEASURES 1 Inch Top to Btm and EACH piece is Clearly Marked "10K" on the reverse. Patriotic Wartime Sweetheart jewelry is in VERY GOOD CONDITION! "US" retains its ORIGINAL Fully Functional locking clasp, hinge & pin stem... has not been professionally buffed ~ polished & has never been personalized.
DON'T miss the chance to ADD this uncommon gold jewelry to your World War II military souvenir, soldier, serviceman, mourning, sweetheart jewelry ~ pin or homefront collection!
