Native American Sterling Turquoise Flying BUG Fly PinNative American Sterling Turquoise Flying BUG Fly PinNative American Sterling Turquoise Flying BUG Fly PinNative American Sterling Turquoise Flying BUG Fly Pin

This EARLY Hand Made Silver Pin was crafted by an American Indian silversmith.... probably during the Fred Harvey Era. WONDERFUL Finely Detailed Native American brooch was designed to represent a FLY or some other type of winged bug complete with wings, body, curled antennae, 4 legs and a head that is a bezel-set piece of turquoise.

Vintage bug pin MEASURES a Max. of ONLY 1/2 Inch in Both Directions!! Under 10 power magnification I believe I can make out "STERLING" on the underside (edge) of one of its wings. Uncommon piece of Native American jewelry is in VERY GOOD CONDITION! ... retains original (xtra long) pin stem, hinge & broad "C" clasp. Little Mr. "Fly by Night" has not been polished recently - displays old patina that could be removed if so desired.

Would make a SUPER Gift for a Man ~ Woman or TERRIFIC Addition to your Fred Harvey Era Jewelry, Figural Pin or Vintage Native American Silver Collection!
