I believe this SIGNED Native American silver jewelry dates C.1960- 1970. Well crafted HEFTY Hopi Silver Overlay design ring has hand stamped Sun Rays (symbol of constancy) on each shoulder. The SQUARE front of the ring has the overlay designs but I am not certain what they symbolize... one may be an arrowhead (alertness).
Vintage Native American accessory is rounded on the interior (front) for comfort and is electro - engraved "Rice". I have not been able to find out any info on the talented silversmith who created this piece. Native American Indian jewelry WEIGHS ~ 10 Grams, MEASURES Over 1/2 Inch N-S and ~ SIZE 10 1/4 on my sizing wand - could easily be re-sized (up or down).
American Indian jewelry is unmarked as to precious metal content - I GUARANTEE it to be SOLID Silver. Hopi Silver ring is in VERY GOOD CONDITION! Retains Dark Oxidized Accents and was recently professionally buffed/polished... Perfect for a Man or Woman and ready for gift giving!
Would make a FABULOUS Addition to your Southwestern or Artist Signed Native American silver jewelry collection!
