This piece of 3 Dimensional Mid Century Modernist South American (probably Peruvian) jewelry really packs a punch visually. Hand hammered silver background is accented with a gun metal color oxidized finish. In the very center is a finely detailed RICH yellow gold color (possibly 18 Karat) figure of a TUMI. In addition, he is surrounded by a silver frame resembling stone blocks ~ bricks. The overall appearance & unusual shape of the brooch reminds me of an ancient pyramid.
