Vintage Sterling Silver charm was purchased as a souvenir 45 +/- Years ago. Horseshoe or half-round bracket has a small round Highly Detailed rotating? disk in the center. The edge is cobalt blue enamel... Silver capital Letters spell out "Gettysburg Penna". 1960's Round Disk SPINNER ~ Spinning Charm features a Cannon and the "Pennsylvania Monument" in the center. The words "Eternal Light" are in between the 2 images.
Sterling Silver Souvenir Charm from a historic Civil War battle location MEASURES 3/4 + Inches N-S (including fixed loop at top), Round Disk is just over 1/2 Inch in Diameter. The back of the half-round bracket on the sterling charm is CLEARLY Marked 'STERLING' as is the back side of the disk. There is a also a Maker's mark inside of a circle that I am not familiar with. You will find this Vintage Enamel Charm to be in VERY GOOD CONDITION! ...has not been cleaned ~ polished & looks as good as the day it was sold. I believe it was manufactured with a protective coating of lacquer or rhodium to help retard tarnish. NO Loss or excessive wear to the enamel.
