This is a FABULOUS Molded Celluloid bangle bracelet that MEASURES ~ 3/4 Inches in Width and 2 1/2 Inches across the interior. Faux Ivory accessory has a HIGHLY DETAILED 3 Dimensional Floral motif featuring 2 different flowers - large Cabbage ? Rose and possibly Gerber ? Daisy. The Roses are tinted with PINK as are most of the other multi-petal flowers... a few are tinted pale green as are all of the leaves. In addition there is a candy apple red 'dot' that I believe is hand painted at the center of all the smaller flowers.
Highly Collectible EARLY Plastic ~ Celluloid jewelry manufactured for the English speaking market is also MARKED (Stamped in black ink) on the interior "JAPAN". You will find it to be in VERY GOOD CONDITION! Designs are Crisp, Well Defined - surface is Shiny (NOT dried out) inside & outside. It has not been cleaned, just as I found it in the estate... may have never been worn. If you look VERY closely... you can see a 'seam' on the outside where the bangle was closed when it was manufactured. This is another hallmark one should expect from an authentic piece of celluloid from this period.
This Pastel BEAUTY will always be in STYLE & makes a statement all by itself! DON’T miss YOUR chance to own this VERY Special Art Deco ~ WWII Era bracelet. PRISTINE Example would make a GREAT Gift or addition to your Lucite ~ plastic costume bracelet or Celluloid ~ Bakelite jewelry collection!
