Antique pin cushion from about 1880. A long stuffed old fashion shoe / boot in burgundy color velvet with ribbons attached to the top. In very good condition for the age, slight wear to the velvet. This color was the rage in 1860's to 1880's. Many Wedding dresses were made in Burgundy or Navy after the Civil War. The is large, and very useful when most made their own clothes. It is 12 inches long and 3 inches at the widest point. This was an essential item over 100 years ago...and still is for those that sew. Lots of wear still left. Solid and bend a little at the ankle part of the Victorian Women's boot shoe.
