Baccarat Perfume Bottle by Caron Fete des Roses Commercial Perfume
From 1930's is this Baccarat crystal perfume bottle designed for Caron and held the perfume "Fete des Roses". This came out in 1936 and there was also a gold version as well.
The Designer who designed this perfume bottle for Caron, was Felicie Bergaud, and this one is signed with initials. Plus the Baccarat etched numbers.
You can find this perfume bottle in the gold in Jacquelyn Jones- North's book, "Commercial Perfume Bottles". This is clear and 3 3/4" tall. It is acid etched towards the bottom of the bottle "dummy".
The stopper is numbered as well as on the bottom of the bottle. It is in great condition, with just two micro mini flea bites on the underside of the stopper. Seriously small.
Really a nice Commercial perfume bottle. Baccarat marked their bottles with acid etched numbers until 1938 when they added the circular logo. This stands on four little legs. Very nice design.
A dummy is a store's display.
