Valentines Day postcards, three total, by illustrator Ellen Clapsaddle. One is signed. All in very good to excellent condition. Two are postmarked 1921 and the other one was never used but has a small amount of torn paper on the back. Pictures show all. Little poems on all the cards.
The one with the lone girl holding a lone rose is artist signed. It has a bend on the right side and a little wear on upper left corner. No bends or tears on any of the old postcards.
This was a time when postcards were losing their popularity to folded and mechanical cards. Ellen Clapsaddle was quite popular in her time, and still is recognized today.
