Trade Card from 1903 advertising Swift Pride Soap. Darling girl with a Prairie Bonnet on her head, peeking out. It is signed by the illustrator, Cockrell.
In very good condition, although it has a slight water mark on it. It is the same size as a postcard. A Trade card might be given away if you buy the product. Because color was fairly new in printing, the cards were often saved and put in scrap books and that is why we have them today. One tiny bend in the bottom corner. Printed in Chicago in 1903 by I.M. Johnson. Great color and condition. Always fun to read the advertising on the back of the antique trade card. It is the same size as a postcard.
