Small vintage perfume from molded amber color glass. Called a purse perfume because it is small enough and secure enough to carry perfume in your purse.
It is acid etched on the bottom Germany. It is very cleaned and has no sign of use. Quality. The screw on silver metal top has a glass dauber.
With the Germany being etched on the bottom, I would say this is from 1920's or 30's. when everyone was trying to copy the Czechoslovakian glass makers who made some of the best glass in the world. Austria, France and Germany all followed suit trying to compete, and they made even better quality pieces. But the Czechoslovakian bottles is what people wanted. 2" tall.
Scent and perfume was very important over 100 years ago, as sanitation wasn't the standard it is today and people had to endure bad smells. Perfume went everywhere with you, and purses were much smaller than todays average size purses. Thus the small purse perfume as they were called.
