Richard Hudnut “Le Debut” Chatelaine / Ring Finger Compact with lipstick case was produced in the 1920s. It has a cloisonne enameling with a celestial design, surrounded by chrome casing. The octagon shape is one of Hudnut’s most recognizable features. It is a lovely green and the hardware is in great condition.

The box is beautiful and in very good condition for it's almost 100 year old age. The box mentions another Richard Hudnut compact. So, not sure this is the original box but it fits! The box has a different name than the compact in the box.

The compact is used but if very nice condition. It is a tri-fold with powder, rouge and mirror. Still there is lipstick, powder, rouge and puffs.
2 inches across the compact when closed and the finger ring is 3 1/2 inches long. Enamel in great shape as well.
