Baccarat Crystal French perfume bottle by Houbigant, commercial perfume maker. A figural of Buddha with etched detailing on his face and body. It has the older Baccarat round label on the bottle. This perfume bottle was boxed in a fabric box with red satin lining. This does not have the box. It also came with a little brass wire on the top of the stopper. I've had three of these and never had one with the brass wire circle on top. This still has some remaining perfume but the stopper is stuck. This happens especially when perfume remains. I will let the new owner work on getting it out, but it is perfect as is for display.
A hard to find perfume bottle, it was first produced in 1919 by Houbigant of Paris France, but was not introduced into the United States until 1923. It is 3 inches tall by 3 inches wide and the perfume was named "Subtitlite". No chips or breaks.
