An unopened perfume bottle by Lentheric of Paris, France. The perfume bottle is staged in its original box and has not been disturbed. The box has some wear issues as the pictures show but it is stable. The Art Deco French perfume bottle is in excellent and pristine condition. Always wonderful to have the box but a great asset to have the perfume still in the bottle and wired shut, for collectors of perfume bottles.
You can see under the frosted stopper is another glass plug to hold in the perfume. This perfume first came out in 1916.
Lentheric was a Millinery and Fashion and Beauty Salon in Paris and New York and began creating and selling perfume in 1885 and were very prolific in the making, bottling and marketing of their products. This has a great Art Deco shape to it.
It does not tell but it looks like about 1 FL. Ounce of perfume scented liquid and the perfume perfume bottle is 2 1/4 inches wide by 1 7/8 inches tall. There was a huge Oriental / Asian influence to names and design in the late 19-teens and 1920's.
