Vintage Commercial perfume bottle from 1977, by Oscar de la Renta. The bottle was made in France for the famous designer that came from the Dominican Republic.
He worked with many polished and well established designers from Spain and France, but went off on his own in the 1960's, and became one of Jacquelyn Kennedy's favorite designer. Oscar worked for Dior and Balmain and others for years as an apprentice.
This perfume bottle is getting harder to find…in the form this one is that is all glass including the stopper. This particular bottle came in 5 sizes including the mini and the large factice. This one is in perfect condition and is 2 1/2 inches tall and 1 1/2 inches across the bottom. Some liquid is in the bottle but not usable perfume. It has gone to alcohol or could have been a small factice for the counter display. The perfume bottle remains in the bottle and is still wearable, although we don't guarantee any perfume, only the bottles. Always nice to have the perfume still remaining.
The bottle is perfect with no cracks or chips, and it shows the date in the glass along with Made in France and HP. HP is a high standard of glass which was used in your nicer commercial perfume bottles. The flower, all glass stopper has a dew drop in the flower. Actually, these glass ones are getting harder to find. The minis are available but not the actual first edition bottles, all glass like this one. Label is on the bottom. This is 2nd to the largest of the sizes. Perfect and clean.
