Empty of its Arpege perfume, this empty perfume bottle was made in France by Lanvin. Jeanne Lanvin, a designer, opened his doors in Paris, France in 1888 and began selling perfume in 1920's. It was very popular up into the 60's and 70's. I remember my mom always had it. This is a small bottle that use to house 1/2 FL. Ounce and has an all glass stopper, with the companies Logo of a woman and child. In great condition it is 2 1/4 inches tall and could be considered a mini perfume bottle because of its side. However it held extract, and was a very nice perfume. There is a little bend on the foil label of this one. Very nice glass and a beautiful stopper. I love my black and gold bottles in my collection, and of course I have one of these bottles in the mix! It's perfect and clean!
