Art Deco coffee urn / pot / percolator in Chrome with an Art Deco Design and trimmed in gold color Bakelite. It is in very good condition and still has most of the insides and the cord. Looks as though a top is missing off the percolator inside the pot. The chrome is in fantastic condition. There is a nice large handle for carrying the 16 inch tall coffee urn, and it is 12 inches wide. You can find parts for these great looking coffee percolators. There is a glass knob on top, and the top fits well, but appears to have a dent close to the glass top, so it sits a tad bit askew. The Deco coffee pot was part of my kitchen decorations above my cabinets along with other chrome coffee pots and martini shakers from the same Deco era. The coffee percolator first arrived not he market by Farberware of New York in the 1930's. Very clean with no rust and no damage to the Bakelite. Two pin head size dents on the lid along with the one near the glass top. Great condition for almost 100 years old.
The Deco Era coffee pot is solid and will last for many generations to come, and looks good with the Mid Century Modern craze that is so popular along with the stainless steel kitchens.
