Vintage Jeweled brooch pin with all the stones in place. Made by Art which is the copyright.
The mark shown is after 1955 as indicated by the copyright symbol. The mark Mode Art was also used.
Mode-Art, a jewelry company founded in New York City in the late 1940s, was owned by Arthur Pepper. Mode-Art competed directly with Florenza in terms of style but the founders of both companies counted one another as friends.
Quality and beautiful, this piece is from the 1950's. It is 1 3/4 inches. All stones there and it is in great condition. There is a slight bend in the pin bar on back but it does not affect the pinning of the brooch. The large dark red stones are cut glass and look like garnets. Small seed pearls with small turquoise beads. Stunning. Gorgeous. Marked and collectible.
Gender: Female, Age Group: Adult, Color: Red Turquoise Pearl, Size: 1 3/4 inch wide and long
