Vantine's was established in 1855 from New York. They were importers of Oriental goods including perfume bottles and scent. In great condition is this vintage box from about 1908, made of wood and wood decor, to house the three, corked bottles. The bottles are three sided and fit together in the box. One of the scents was Geisha, which came about in 1908. The scent names are on the neck of each bottle but I can only tell one of them because there is some of the neck labels missing. There is a Vantine's label on every bottle on the bottom, and also on the box.
The box is lovely and made of wood. I love the Vantine boxes…and this is one of a few I have to sell.
All in great condition except neck labels. The box has a little damage on the edge of the top. Intricately made box with lots of Oriental detail. The bottles are all cork and you can still smell each scent of the perfumes on the cork! All the bottles are empty of liquid but it is nice you can still smell the scent…and nice too!
The box is 3 3/4 inches tall and the bottle are just shy of that. No breaks or chips. 1908….wow.
