From 1990's, Barney Dept. store jumped on the falling of the Berlin Wall adding Russian Perfume bottles to their inventory at their stores. They sold out quickly as many were thirsty to have something from Russia. It was rather historic and the perfume bottles were shown on certain news segments, and showed up in Fashion Magazines, such as Vogue. They sold out fast but were not re-ordered according to "Perfume Bottles" by Flanagan.
The box is satin lined and in great condition with minor edge wear. The perfume bottles are in excellent condition, and have never been opened so sill have their original perfume . No stains on the satin lining. The picture on the top is of the Kremlin. The blue and gold box is very attractive and an odd shape. The perfume bottles are 3 1/2 inches and 3 1/4 inches. The bottles are in excellent condition. The box is 9 inches across by 6 inches deep and 4 inches tall.
