Russian Boxed Perfume Bottles from 1990's. Barney's Dept. store jumped on marketing Russian items, with the historic fall of the Berlin Wall, adding Russian Perfume bottles to their inventory in their stores. They sold out quickly as many were thirsty to have something from Russia. It was rather historic and the perfume bottles were shown on certain news segments, and showed up in Fashion Magazines, such as Vogue. They sold out fast but were not re-ordered according to "Perfume Bottles" by Flanagan.
The box is satin lined and in good but not perfect condition. Some edge wear. The perfume bottles are in very good condition. The white satin glass bottle has a pin tip size chip, (teensy)on top . Both perfume bottles are empty. No stains on the satin lining of the box. The picture on the top is of the Kremlin. The blue and gold box is very attractive and an odd shape. The perfume bottles are 3 1/2 inches and 3 1/4 inches. The box is 9 inches across by 6 inches deep and 4 inches tall.
