Vintage commercial perfume bottle in box by Paloma Picasso. With a small amount of perfume left, this is the first perfume (and only, I believe) by the youngest daughter of the famous painter, Pablo Picasso. Her maternal grandfather was a perfumer and so she grew up discovering and making different scents. Her favorite perfume was Chanel #5. She has worked designing jewelry for Tiffany for over 30 years.
The box is all black and in good condition. Red is her favorite and signature color. Thus, her name in red on the box. This is the perfume that was launched in 1984. It was also made with a hard plastic bottle that looked like this one but not glass. This perfume bottle is all glass and in perfect condition. The glass top comes off to reveal a glass stopper.
When Paloma was married, her wedding was all in black and white. She always wears her signature red lipstick as well.
The perfume bottle is 3 1/4 inches tall and a circle shape. The box is 4 1/4 inches square. No faults with the artsy 1984 perfume bottle.
White frosted glass with a clear center, the box is quite attractive in the inside! Cool piece for the collector. The perfume still smells lovely.
