Perfume Bottle Cut Crystal with Sterling Silver Stopper Great Condition Victorian Era
In super condition is this beautiful perfume bottle with a marked, sterling silver stopper. It looks to be American Brilliant Glass. The stopper is marked "Sterling with 797 and a L in script for the logo. A nice reposse design on top and under the stopper as well. The scripted initials on the top are MAW.
Overall, in great antique condition. There are a few small dents in the top of the sterling stopper and one on the side of the stopper. One small chip at the end of the glass insert and to the neck area where there are no chips but a tad rough due to glass hitting glass. The perfume bottle is close to 2 lbs!! This lovely perfume or dresser bottle for cologne, would be from about 1900. Stunning piece for the perfume bottle collector or user!
The glass is brilliant, and the perfume bottle is as well! The bulbous bottle is 5 1/4 inches tall and 4 inches across the widest part, or middle.
