Victorian Era, likely a flower bowl center. It is a wonderful antique glass figural. It is heavy and it isn't going to go anywhere if you hit it accidentally! It won't topple over. Many people had decorative pieces to go in the middle of their flower vases in the middle of their tables, if they had wealth and a big table. This is likely a piece that would fit the bill.
There are scratches on the bottom, but no chips or cracks. It would look great on a marble base or a center piece on your table. Quite a piece of art in the molded heavy glass. She is tall at 12 inches with a base width of 6 1/2 inches. She is lovely and statuesque!
The figural glass is heavy weighing close to 5 lbs before wrapping!
It is lovely and quite unique. If she had her hand in the air I would think she was the replica of the Statue of Liberty. She definitely has that look to her, doesn't she? I've just never found anything like her before and I've enjoyed her for years and now it is time to giver her up. She is lovely!
