A beautiful antique clear glass vase with a figural of a frosted glass lady. The vase is fluted in clear glass while the stage or base of the vase is frosted glass. No cracks but one teeny tiny in fraction on the bottom, but looks like it was done in the mold. About 1/16 and unnoticeable but I say it for complete accuracy.
The woman looks to be Japanese with flowers in her hair and on her dress. The fluted vase is 9 1/2 inches tall by 4 1/4 inches across the base 5 1/2 across the top. Solid as a glass rock! The age is likely 1910-1920, with Art Nouveau nudes, flowers animals, and Japanese and Chinese Art were the rage.
There was a piece of felt that was on the bottom, but I didn't think it look good although I'm sure someone added it to protect their wood or glass top, I took it off and cleaned it up.
High Quality glass and a stunning flower vase, to show off flower arrangements.
