Porcelain perfume bottle, hand painted and marked Japan from the 1930's.
Japan made their versions of the smaller perfume bottle figurals, in copying the small German porcelain figurals from the 1930's and now they are quite collectible. This darling perfume bottle of a Deco lady is in great condition and has a glass dauber attached to the torso. Small, it is 3 1/8 inches tall with no chips or cracks. Her dress has an iridescent glaze with some very slight age wear on the back. She is marked on the bottom of the bottle "Hand Painted in Japan". Precious and in very good condition.
The glass dauber is attached by a piece of rope. Has a little tape around it but it is sturdy and keeps it together.
