Victorian perfume / cologne bottle case for traveling In excellent condition. These could be used when traveling. It is a very heavy, beveled, glass case that holds four bottles in place. Well made, and made with a handle in which to carry. It likely sat in a compartment of a traveling chest. The bottles are crystal and all lovely with no issues. Great for display or use. Hard to find in such great condition.
There are four bottles with two attached to each beveled glass doors. Two doors, one on each side that open separately on the vanity box.
The box is made similar to the small French Jewelry Boxes of the Victorian Era but those were much smaller.
The bottom of the box is a mirror, so it really enhances the cut glass bottles with the cut glass stoppers. The stoppers are hand sanded for a perfect fit. With a half twist, the stoppers stay secure in the bottles, securing the liquid as well.
With the handle the box is 8 inches tall, and the box alone is 5 inches tall by four inches square. Two bottles are 3 1/2 inches tall and two others are 3 inches in height. All look like they are in great condition.
It is cut glass so it has a great sparkle and clarity.
