Vintage doll dress, with frilly lace. Looks like a 1950's formal gown. It is a three piece outfit and commercially made. It has bloomers and a net slip and the big fancy prom-like dress. It reminds me of the prom dresses of the 1950's. I remember the doll with the big skirts of lace, similar to this one. It has a lovely large bow in the back. I have two of these and neither has ever been worn. Sold separately. There is gold metallic in the white lace all sewn to the thick cream colored sateen.
The dress measurements are 2 1/2" across the neck opening. (5 inch circumference) Waist 4 inches across (8" circumference). 13 inches long. Shoulder seam to shoulder seam is 4 inches across. The pantaloons underneath have an elastic waistband and the stiff net petite coat is 9 inches long.
