Necklace in 18 karat yellow gold (acid tested).

Probably antique watch chain, this gold necklace is formed of a rectangle link on which circulates a slide, chiseled with foliage and which ends in a pattern chiseled in gloved hand, which holds a carabiner with no screw to which it is possible to attach a pendant, medallion or any other hanging jewelry.
Total length of the jewel : 52.3 cm.
Total weight of the jewel : approximately 13.9 g.
Antique jewel - French work from the second half of the 19th century. Later transformation.

Our opinion : This antique gold watch chain was too short to form a one-piece necklace. It was therefore opened by its previous owner to attach an antique pendant.
