Rare figural napkin ring of a billy goat pulling a cart. Antique late Victorian and likely quadruple plate although it is not signed with a makers hallmark. The ring portion is decorated with Victorian florals.
Signed stamped on the bottom with the number 212. Heavily tarnished and some minor loss to the plating at the tips where the rig attaches to the goat but in otherwise excellent antique condition.
The wheels roll smoothly on this rare figural napkin ring. measures about 5 inches x 2.5 inches wide x 3 inches tall. Although unsigned by the maker this ring is listed as being manufactured by Meriden Britania Co. 212 in the book of Figural Napkin Rings Collectors Identification and Value Guide from Collector Books by Gottschalk and Whitson.
